He was pretty good game manager type in 2016. 3800 yards, 20-5 TD to INT ratio, over 70% passing.

I think the cards are hoping for that + a good defense = playoffs but this is pretty short sighted and assumes we can keep him healthy behind a questionable O-line. It really provides very little for the future.

He is no more than a mediocre stopgap and if they don't address QB early in this draft, I'm afraid we are looking at 2 or more seasons of average to below average football and still in the same place we are today at QB.

That is the number of NFL wins put up by everyone (including the QBs) in this draft.

Over half the guys who will have their name called in the draft will bust (including the QBs).

We got two QBs with NFL game experience, know how to prepare, can read NFL defenses----it is now up to SK to get the surrounding team for them. Both have played on terrible teams. Bradford was the #1 overall pick in his draft and won the Offensive Rookie of the Year.

MB has already bought the crap to the tune of $20 million plus.

Get over it.

PS Cards may still pull off the trade up to get a newbie QB with zero wins. Then we can all be happy.
