The Seattle Seahawks landed the top free agent quarterback this offseason when they signed former Minnesota Vikings starter Sam Darnold. Last season, Darnold shocked the world and showed what he was capable of doing in the right situation. Seattle is clearly hoping Darnold can recapture some of that magic for them, and as such, there is a healthy optimism out there among the 12th Man.
The Seahawks have a rather underrated coterie of celebrity fans, and perhaps the most vocal is none other than actor and comedian Rainn Wilson. So who better to welcome Darnold - a fan of The Office - than Wilson himself? Seattle shared Wilson's message to Darnold on their Twitter account, and Dwight K. Schrute even offered Darnold some sage advice.
Hopefully Darnold heeds that advice, especially in the red zone.
