In what was a pitcher's duel through six innings, the Oklahoma Sooners exploded for six runs in the seventh to beat the Arkansas Razorbacks 7-0 in game one of a doubleheader in Fayetteville.

Sam Landry received the start and threw the complete game shutout to move to 7-0 on the season. Landry allowed just three hits and a walk while striking out four in a pitching classic with Arkansas starter Robyn Herron. Landry only allowed two base runners to reach second base throughout the game and just one extra base hit.

At the plate, Nelly McEnroe Marinas picked up where she left off last weekend with a solo home run in the top of the first. But Oklahoma's offense couldn't expand upon their lead until the final frame.

In the seventh, Hannah Coor got the party started, earning a walk on a full count. Isabella Emerling singled to put runners on first and second, and Abigail Dayton moved them over with a sacrifice bunt. Ella Parker walked to load the bases. McEnroe-Marinas singled to give the Sooners some insurance with a 2-0 lead, and Cydney Sanders made it 4-0 with a two-run double. Gabbie Garcia and Ailana Agbayani added to the lead with singles to stretch Oklahoma's lead to 7-0.

Garcia's hit extended her hitting streak to 10 games. McEnroe Marinas' two RBIs give her 23 on the season, good for second on the team behind Kasidi Pickering's 27. It was Sam Landry's third complete game of the season and second complete game shutout of the year. The Sooners are now 24-0 on the season and 4-0 in SEC play with two more games to go against the Razorbacks this weekend.
