Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kit Kat update

Anyone know anything about this? Just powered my tablet on and this message to upgrade popped up. At this point I do not know if this is an actual factory upgrade(software) or a scam/malware/virus. It will be nagging me every 3 hours according to one of the messages. I searched the net and found very little if anything about this .

Go to Settings>About tablet>Software updates. If it says you have an update, it's real. If not, it's not.

I'm pretty sure it'll be real. It's fairly difficult to get malware or viruses on Android.

kitkat has been around for a while, its much better and should even improve your battery life.

I took the plunge, now I will see what my Galaxy phone has to offer.
