I would be more excited seeing the Spurs out 1st rd. I'm kinda bored of them going so far in the playoffs for what seems like every damn season.

Clippers haven't had much playoff success so don't mind seeing them beat SAS here.

Will be tough though, I don't think a Popovich team has ever lost 1st round.

Well, I know the Suns knocked them out in the 1st back when Kidd and Penny were on the team. Aaaaand I'm pretty sure just a few years ago they were one of the few teams to get bounced as a one seed.

Ya but, Griffin is kind of a jerk, especially when he plays the Suns, so I am rooting against him. They are just too cocky

I can just never root for the Spurs to win even though I have lot of respect for Pop and their style of play.

Man, Reggie Miller just openly cheering and rooting for the Clips. Don't get me wrong I hate the Spurs too but this guy is a joke. He complains in favor of the clips with the refs and cheers when they make s big play and is silent when the Spurs do. I've never minded Reggie but he is really acting unprofessionally in this broadcast.

He gives plenty of credit to Duncan but yea he's a bit of a homer especially when it comes to CP3 who he just hypes up as if he's the next MJ or something.

CP3 has never even made it past the 2nd round of playoffs ever in his life.

Yeah if you just watched that broadcast and knew nothing about basketball, you would totally think CP3 is the greatest athlete of all time. Because Reggie Miller said so a thousand times.

Blake Griffin with the classic choke and careless turnovers at the end.

The Clips appear to have collapsed into a dejected mess. This team is a head case. Starting out a playoff series complaining about having to play the Spurs was a big red flag.

Oh man I am loving this. I dont like the Spurs, however I do respect the Spurs. I really dont like the Clippers at all. The Clippers act as though they are this powerhouse with swagger for days, and they aren't. At the end of the day they are still the Clippers that haven't won a thing.

The reason I am enjoying this so much is because, as I posted earlier, Reggie Miller was such a Clipper fan during the first game. Then the next day I remember the talk on ESPN being that the series was over and the Spurs were done. Reggie Miller actually said during game 1 that he thought Doc Rivers was on Greg Popavich's level as a coach... REALLY?

The point of all this is that Reggie Miller is a jackass and also: :mulli::biglaugh:

Would Austin Rivers even be playing significant minutes if he wasn't on the team with daddy?

i don't know but he's been pretty big for them off the bench today. kid's balling out there today and is one of the main reasons the Clippers are up 11 in the 4th.

Clips evened the series at 2-2. Both teams have won on the other's court so it will probably come down to a seventh game. Rivers ended up going 7 for 8 FGs, 2 for 2 from the line, only 1 TO, so he definitely contributed today.

I'm no fan of the Clippers but I'll be happy if they knock the Spurs out.

Don't overlook Griffen today, 19 rebounds and 9/17 from the field plus 7 assists with 1 TO. I'd give him a slight edge over Paul today, in fact.

Austin Rivers was huge. I don't think Pop accounted for him, at all.

Great effort by the Clips, this is starting to look like a 7 gamer.

Contrary to public opinion, I have no problem with Blake Griffin and enjoy watching him play, except when he plays the Suns, of course. I dislike the Spurs and hope the Clips take them out.

As the resident Clipper fan here, I've always liked the Rivers trade. He was a Top 10 pick so there is talent there to be mined, and before him the Clips were simply wasting a chair on the bench with Farmar. Rivers is in a good spot now to develop over the next few years with CP3 as the mentor.

Wow, so the poll is 14 to 1 in favor of San Antonio. Anyone want to give me 14-1 odds and I'll take the Clips?
