Bradway is apparently "smiling and dialing."

There doesn't seem to be a free agent wideout out there that Bradway hasn't contacted.

I kinda wish Graves were as proactive about free agent WRs as Bradway seems to be. Even if they are jt our own FA WRs (Frank and MarTay).

I cannot put my finger on what is going on with the cardinals..we have no proven 1,2 or 3 receiver and we have not had one free agent wide receiver in. Does this mean we are going receiver with the 6th pick..or is that too obvious. The only valid explanation is that there a bunch of mid level guys out there who are comparable in production..and right now they all have martay jenkins syndrome and want big $$$..after june 1 and there are more cuts and fewer options we will clean up..cannot actually blame them for not crawling over the current crop of available FA's like conway, freeman, etc...I assume we have a plan - but so far it is a mystery what that plan is. They knew by probably the end of last season what boston was a goner and martay wanted too much dough.. For the 1,000 time I will repeat - do not draft a receiver with the 6th pick!

We must get our QB in the first round. Next year with the top pick, we can get Roy Williams WR TEXAS. Maybe the best college WR I have seen in some time.

I have to believe that Jerry Sullivan has major input on what we are or are not doing with respect to our wide receivers, and that he has a plan that will make the Cards a success THIS season.

I have to agree with you. The current crop is less than appealing, so maybe the plan is June 1. As you said, I would love to know what Graves plan is. Guess it's wait and see.

Not that he will make the position great by himself, but don't forget about Bryan Gilmore. He started to show great promise last year before he broke his leg. Jerry Sullivan speaks very highly of him (He doesn't do that too often) and he is a hard worker. Hopefully he can make his mark on the league this year.

On the chalk board right now at cardinals hq...It would not shock me if gilmore is penciled in at #2, kasper is #3 and receiver #1 is listed as vacant. It is possible. Perhaps on martay: we are looking for a #1..and he is comparable to our #2 and #3 in terms of future production..so why pay him a bunch of money.

I know the young WR's are talented but dont they need to learn the system more gradually instead of jumping right into it. They need more teaching and time before their talent can truly show. I think they need a veteran to show some of these kids the ropes. I know sullivan is one of the best but he will not be there on the field with them to show them what to do. They are going to make many mistakes and will at some point get frustrated. All the pressure is on these kids and none of us know how they will react. I just do not think that at this point and time that they are ready to be starting WR's.
