I've noticed over the years that even though my age group and demographic have disposable income they're not marketing to me at all. Most of this is just plain stupid IMO
And Bud managed to mess up the Clydesdales. They have been my favorites in the past.
It's sad to think how much money was paid to people for producing such bad inane commercials as this Super Bowl produced.
I thought the commercial for the TV series "House" was the funniest. It appeared to be a take off of the Coca-Cola commercial back in 1979 with Mean Joe Green and a kid. Anyway it ends up with House throwing his cane towards the kid after the kid offers House some candy (or whatever).
Here is a video link to that 1979 Mean Joe Green Coca-Cola commercial to which I referred earlier. I think the TV series "House" was imitating this commercial when ultimately House throws his cane to the kid at the end of the commercial.
SB commercials sucked for the past few years. I like to TiVo the game and start watching 1.5 hours after kickoff so I can fast forward through crap like commercials and the Black Eyes Peas. The Super Bowl has become way too hyped for me. I just want to see the game not the crap that goes with it. I remember hearing that last years Super Bowl broadcast was 4.5 hours but only had a little less than 10 minutes of actual gameplay. That's ridiculous.
