Although he's no longer a Diamondback, Schilling is still held in some level of fondness. He picked up the victory tonight in a 6-4 win over Tampa Bay.
Without Schilling we wouldn't have a ring so I'll always be grateful for him. However, I didn't like how he left and I could care less how or what he does in Boston. He's one of the biggest jerks in baseball, IMO (I felt the same way when he was here but I looked past it...)
Congrats to Curt. It was pretty awesome when Curt would post on a regular basis on the old Diamondback board. The guy even signed a World Series ball and mailed it back to me. Curt and RJ brought a World Series title here to Arizona and no one can take that away. It's too bad Joe G. Jr. got raped on the Curt trade to Boston.
