Source: Variety
September 27, 2005

Jacinda Barrett (Ladder 49) will star with Billy Bob Thornton and Jon Heder in School for Scoundrels, the Todd Phillips-directed remake of the 1960 British comedy at The Weinstein Co.'s Dimension Films. According to Variety, filming starts next month.

Barrett will play the dream girl of a hapless meter reader who enrolls in a confidence-building class so he can win her heart. The scheming professor quickly sets his sights on the girl.

Phillips, who wrote the script with Scot Armstrong, is producing with Dan Goldberg and Geyer Kosinski.

As a fan of Todd Phillips (Road Trip and Old School), I think this flick will be decent.

It should be decent. Heder & Thorton are solid and who can forget Jacinda Barrett streaking buck naked in Real World 4: London ...

I just watched it. It was actually much better than I was expecting. Not really anything that hasn’t been done before, but it was still funny.

It was okay. Heder was pretty damn good, but I wouldn't reccomend this flick. The pepper spray scene was hilarious though!
