Just read on Yahoo that a Sept 16 report from Sports Xchange says that Scobey is the #2 RB ahead of Hambrick until Hambrick loses some weight.
Is this true? If so, is he still the KR?
The Cards official sight still shows Hambrick as #2 as of 2:00 AM Friday the 17th.

Scobey played significantly last week on offense. Hambrick suited but I don't think he hit the field. Maybe he played a down or two, I honestly don't remember. Scobey, right now, is the better back as he is faster and is a decent dump-off receiver. Josh hit him a few times in the 2 minute drill at the end of the first half Sunday.

Scobey has simply awesome straight-ahead speed. Now if only he had some of Marcel or Emmitt's wiggle and moves.

Hambrick had two carriers for two yds if I re-call.

It's funny, Scobey ran the ball better than he did during the entire pre-season. I hope it continues.

Scobey had 2 carries last week, Hambrick had 2 carries last week. Scobey had more yards and also plays on special teams.

Sounds about right he was reportedly 260 when we got him and his playing weight is supposed to be 235 although he hasn't been at that weight in a couple of years. That's one reason Parcells dumped him.

Unfortunately, I don't think Hambone will ever see 235 again. I think the best we might be able to hope for is 245...maybe 240.

Have you ever read Art Donovan's biography, "Fatso?" It's f'n hillarious! There's a time when he was in the Army and was caught stealing a case of Spam(R). His Sargeant made him eat the whole thing as a punishment because he thought Donovan swiped it as a practical joke, when in fact, he had swiped it with the intention of eating it, anyways. He finished it way before his alloted time was up.

I think it's out of print now, but if you can get your hands on it, it's a REALLY funny book. Literally LOL funny.
