The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are heavily into NFL Draft prep and are continuing to host NFL Draft prospects as the event approaches. The league's annual selection meeting is just eight days away, and the Bucs are set to host a notable prospect to work them out and get to know them better.

The latest player to visit is someone the team could add to its secondary as the final piece of the puzzle. Maxwell Hairston, out of Kentucky, was with the Bucs on Tuesday, with just over a week to go before the NFL Draft.

Hairston ran an impressive 4.28 40-yard dash at the Scouting Combine while also posting a 39.5" vertical jump as well. On film, he showed he could be explosive as he closed on wide receivers to make plays on the ball to break up passes. He could be a fun outside option in rotation with Zyon McCollum and Jamel Dean if they decide to draft him.

The Bucs also have Tykee Smith, whom they drafted last year, but they are leaning towards moving him to safety. Jason Licht has shown comfort drafting cornerbacks in the past. We will see if Hairston fits what he sees as a Bucs cornerback.
