This is why a team should never get cute when it has a SB Title on the line. Really difficult to get back and players get banged-up/old/ineffective quickly.

I wouldn't be shocked if they still won the division.

Don't you wish our team fought like that?

Very much so.

I was watching the Oregon Arizona game Saturday and they got beat but they didn't like it and put up a fight. I was thinking watching that game I wished the Cardinals as a team would take it that personally.

This is a reflection of the coaching staff.

I wish I could categorize allowing 600 yards of offense and 48 points as "putting up a fight."

I actually like Marcel Yates as a DC, though.

I wasn’t a huge fan of Swearinger, but that dude was ALWAYS trying to strip the ball out. You never see that now. HB used to try to, but now I see him standing around while the tackle is being made instead of trying to force a fumble. This team is so frustrating.

Budda looks like he is always swiping at the ball.

I meant they were pissed off about it. It was a chippy game. IMO we play like it's no big deal for the most part.

Chancellor and Sherman are overrated in that d. Earl Thomas is the linchpin.

Crazy talk. A few years back when Chancellor was out, their run defense wasn't nearly as good. In Seattle they talk about how Thomas holds together the pass defense, while Wagner and Chancellor hold together their run defense.

Yes I do agree that overall, Thomas is the linchpin [sic], but Chancellor is a key component of their run defense.

Injury guarantees usually aren't relevant in NFL contracts. Kam Chancellor's could come into play. His $6.8M 2018 base salary & $5.2M of his $10M 2019 base salary are guaranteed for injury. Seattle is on the hook for the $12M if he can't play anymore because of his neck injury.

damn. considering the severity of the injury...a contract like that makes it pretty easy to retire.

PAH-LEASE!!!!!!!!!

maybe ...again MAYBE the dumbest thing said on this board ever

...and Cam should highly consider retirement. A defender who has constant impact and head contact his risk of total paralysis is off the charts.
The game is NOT worth living in an electric wheelchair unable to function for the rest of your life.

added he's got his guarantee $
