The Seattle Seahawks need to add depth at cornerback via the 2025 NFL draft. As currently constructed, Riq Woolen and Josh Jobe are set to serve as Mike Macdonald's outside cornerbacks. Jobe was re-signed earlier this offseason after enjoying a breakout 2024 season. Devon Witherspoon is the versatile chess-piece who occupies the nickel.

Better depth is needed behind Woolen and Jobe. Nehemiah Pritchett showed little as a rookie and free-agent signing Shemar Jean-Charles isn't guaranteed a roster spot. Looking for late-round options, the Seahawks recently held a virtual pre-draft meeting with UCF cornerback BJ Adams, a source confirmed.

Injury limited Adams to nine appearances for the Knights this past season. He recorded 14 tackles, two interceptions, and two pass breakups. In four completed campaigns at UCF, Adams totaled 13 passes defensed, 11 pass breakups, and 88 tackles.

The 6-foot-2, 182 pound Adams possesses good size for the position, a must-have for a Seahawks defensive back. The Atlanta, Georgia native also has good length with near 32-inch arms. In addition to those measurements, Adams ran a 4.53-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, and also jumped a 32.5 inch vertical and 9-foot-9 broad jump.

Recent Seahawks pre-draft meetings also include Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, Georgia defensive end Mykel Williams, and Sacramento State offensive lineman Jackson Slater.
