If the Seattle Seahawks are going to upgrade at guard for 2025, it appears free agency will not be the path they'll take to do so. On Friday, it was announced yet another free agent guard who the Seahawks met with decided to not follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City.

Former New Orleans Saints starter Lucas Patrick instead chose the Queen City, signing with the Cincinnati Bengals. Patrick is now the second free agent guard who has decided to sign with an AFC North team in the state of Ohio instead of Seattle, as Teven Jenkins signed with the Cleveland Browns.

The Seahawks met with Lucas Patrick earlier in the week, as well as Teven Jenkins. However, both men left the Virginia Mason Athletic Center without signing a contract with the organization, only to find their next NFL homes elsewhere.

Seattle has either been unimpressed with outside talent compared to what they have in their own building, or worse, they are outright striking out with these free agent guards. Whatever the reason may be, the Seahawks have not signed any of the top free agent guards or centers available this cycle.

There is one final option, should Seattle decide to go that route, and it is former Tennessee Titans guard Dillon Radunz. The Seahawks hosted Radunz for a visit around the same time as Patrick and Jenkins. We at Seahawks Wire believe he would be an excellent fit in Seattle's offense.
