The Seattle Seahawks haven't addressed the offensive line in free agency. General manager John Schneider recently offered a lengthy explanation, admitting the team missed on higher-end targets. Schneider's refusal to pay lesser players out of desperation has the Seahawks entering the 2025 NFL draft absolutely needing to target the offensive line early and often.
Schneider will almost certainly select an offensive linemen at No. 18 overall. In The Draft Network's latest mock-draft scenario, Ryan Fowler has the Seahawks taking University of Alabama guard Tyler Booker.
"The athletic testing left much to be desired, but tape always holds the most weight," Fowler wrote. "For Tyler Booker, while you'd like to see more explosiveness off the ball or a little less of him playing over his toes, two sacks allowed in 978 career pass-pro snaps in the SEC is as good as it gets. He's advanced technically, strong as an ox, and with a little fine-tuning, could evolve into a consistent Pro Bowl type of player along a front five."
Booker overwhelms opponents with power at the point of attack. Booker would be plug-and-play for the Seahawks at left guard, left vacant by Laken Tomlinson's anticipated departure. Drafting the powerful guard would help Klint Kubiak install his offense.
