Free agency 2025 has been a glorious time for all the 12's out there who live in eastern Washington. On Friday afternoon, it was announced the Seattle Seahawks signed yet another former Washington college football standout. Joining Cooper Kupp as a new Seahawk this year is former Washington State University wide receiver River Cracraft.
Cracraft joined the NFL in 2017 with Cooper Kupp, albeit as an undrafted free agent. He signed with the Denver Broncos and spent the first three years of his career in the Mile High City. Cracraft had a brief offseason stint with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020, but quickly ended up with the San Francisco 49ers as a receiver and punt returner. Since 2022, Cracraft has been with the Miami Dolphins organization as a wide receiver. In his NFL career, Cracraft has hauled in 32 receptions for 374 yards and three touchdowns.
During his days on the Palouse, Cracraft was a stud for the Cougars. During his 41 games at WAZZU, Cracraft had 218 receptions for 2,701 yards and 20 touchdowns. He will likely feature to be a depth/special teams player, should he make it to the active 53-man roster this fall.
Additional moves by the Seahawks included re-signing linebacker Josh Ross, who was mainly a special teams star in his 10 games played. Ross was claimed off waivers from Baltimore, reuniting with Mike Macdonald - who was his defensive coordinator with the Ravens.
