Sean Miller's exit from Xavier basketball was as shady as his return | Letters

Thad Matta and Chris Mack left Xavier like thieves in the night. Sean Miller showed "interest" in Arizona before heading west. Having nowhere to go after being fired there, Miller crawls back to XU as the proverbial prodigal son, asking for redemption, and Xavier "buys it." Shame on you.

Miller was worse than either Matta or Mack. He loses in the NCAA Tournament on Friday, then accepts the head coaching job at Texas on Sunday. Surely, there was no pre-planning there.

I hope Xavier has learned their lesson. The NCAA transfer portal officially opened on Monday, and we have no coach to staff a decimated roster. Skip Prosser will always be my favorite basketball coach. Yes, he left, too, but he did so in a responsible and caring manner. No wonder there is a Wake Forest-Xavier Prosser Classic. Ninety-nine-point-nine percent of college coaches are unethical, greedy bums.
