Season Finale: Help me plan my trip

To my ASFN friends,

I am flying over to AZ for the season finale.

(Yeah, I know it is tough times but I booked the flight before the sinking of the economy and it costs more to cancel then to just go on the trip so we are going)

I am asking for some help.

1. Tailgating:

The wife and I are taking a taxi to the game. What time should we show up? If there is a ASFN tailgate, or a group that I could hang with that would be great and much appreciated. I can even pick something up if need be.

2. Dinner:

Tailgating: I know that Donald and abomb and dcr/linderbee tailgate in lot F on the far north side of the lot. The Derminators always tailgate in Red lot W near the #32 pole. Right next to the sidewalk that seperates the Orange W from the Red W lots. Derm, 40year, Jstadvl, Nidan, Card Logic are usually there and ShaneH and other ASFN members drop by occasionally. Look for a gray Avalanche with a Car*s Flag and Car*s canopy.

Red Rob has a great tailgate as well on the great lawn but its hard to find.

A great place to eat after the game is Gardunos Mexican Restaurant, http://www.gardunosofarizona.com/tour.php ,which is in the complex just north of the Renaissance Hotel. Its New Mexico style but is within walking distance.

A long walk but not that bad and its in the same direction as your hotel. The stuffed Sopapillas are fantastic. There are also restaurants in the Westgate complex but I've never been to any. I know several other good places to go but they are a long way from the UP.

The half time meet is just outside the glass doors to the left of the team store. Be prepared to miss a couple of minutes of the 3rd quarter but its worth it.
