The only 'real' way for Cardinal fans to vote and have a voice, is with their wallet.

Given the state of this team, and the pathetic product that is on the field week after week - how many Arizona folks are going to be renewing their season tickets? Is a new stadium really worth it to you?

You raise and interesting question. I spoke with the Cardinals staff at the New Stadium booth at SDS during the last pre-season game. They told me that they would be sending out ticket information in a couple of weeks from that point.

Well, it's 2 months later and no ticket information. I almost wonder if the Cards were waiting for the season to be turned around to drop the new ticket packages on the season ticket holders. The longer they wait at this point, the less interest.

I'm renewing mine, we are bottom dwellers but we are like the cubs fans. There's always next year.

I would if I lived in Arizona.....I hope to someday. The game is only 1/2 the deal of Sunday football.

Tailgating and hanging with other Cardinals fans looks like a blast...at least from the pictures.

I had a blast at the season opener, and the Cardinals got crushed, and played like cr@ppola. Still was a great time.

I've waited a long time for this stadium. I'm going no matter what happens this year. A year or two into the stadium, then I'll reconsider.

By the way, what better thing to do during halftime than get on the board here? I just hate that Clint Black highlight reel with a passion.

With our record I hope they don't put a high increase on our ticket prices for the new stadium. With the new stadium on the horizon it will be a novelty to some fans to see the new stadium but we need to win more games for the bandwagon fans to jump in and fill out the new stadium.

Between that song and "The twins" really gets on my nerves. Btw Tim Mcgraw sang "I Like It, I Love It" not Clint Black :D

You're right Tim McGraw. I'm not a country fan . . . especially the part about Alexander needing oxygen. :(

Cardinals seem to only make the highlight when it's the other team putting on the hurt...

I'll renew...looking forward to being in the new stadium. However if they continue to play this bad in 2006 that could be it for me.

We didn't renew this past season.

Got upset with the whole Mexico thing and decided to drop the tickets. The Cardinals never called, never asked why, etc - and we had season tickets for over ten seasons.

Really didn't see the benefit of being a season ticket holder.

We're still able to go to all the games, we just don't pre-pay for them.

We went to all the games before we got our season tix, and we're still able to do so now, without being "committed" to certain seats.

In the long run, we'll probably spend less on our individual game tix than we would have on our season tix (especially with the team sucking). And we even picked up some seat cushions from the loge section after an early season game, so we got the "season ticket benefit" without the season tix. :D

The one thing people say when they hear we dropped our season tix is: "What about your priority status for seats in the new place?!"

We just tell 'em: "We weren't counting on the Cards' ticket staff getting that right anyway." :D

I have ten years of priority, but it's just not fun anymore. If I had to choose right now, I'd let someone else on ASFN buy them from me.

Have been thinking the same thing lately. This 6 year run of sub .500 records is taking it's toll. You have to wonder if it will ever end?

Geez

I remember when the seahags played in that crap dome place ,what was it "the rain dome or sky dome, and they sucked too. People used to buy season tickets just to get out of the rain. I remember when they builkt that concrete mass of grey. Woo Hoo!
I'm in big time for both my seats and have a clause in my will that money from my insurance will be applied to two season tickets for my daughters lifetime. When she's old enough we'll make a deal that she does that same thing.
Cardinals 4 EVER!!

We're downgrading to the cheapest seats next year. No point paying premium prices when we'll be able to sit basically anywhere and you know the Bidwills will raise prices.

I'm renewing and will as long as I'm able to. But, I'm not going to pay much more.

If I were there I would buy season tickets. How many idiots are there like us on this board who will do it. There are only a few hundred of us. The Skins pack 90,000 plus into that stadium every week. The poor Cubs are a sell out year in and year out. They are even increasing capacity this year by building the bleachers out over the sidewalk on Sheffield Ave. By the way like all Cub fans "just wait until next year". Actually we are going to spend around 35 mil on FA's and will add some good players. I do not have the same feeling about the Cards. Next year will be much like this year the way we are headed. What are we really going to do to make this team respectable next year? We all have our ideas but in reality what will Green and the Bidwills really do? The Cubs provide some hope and the President and GM speak to the fans and give them some idea of what they plan to do. What do the Bidwills or Green tell us? Not a hell of a lot. They would do well to step up to the podium and give us a sense of their plans and some hope.

I'm in my 12th full season & it is really hard to enjoy the current team... Oh yeah & I'll be renewing for next year unless the "greed-factor" is too HIGH...
