Club level seats, 50 yard line (Section 212) Row 2 (2 seats) for $7300?

It seems very expensive, but for the Club Level seats you get $15 worth of food and drink per game, and a parking pass.

So wondering if this is a good buy or just a bit expensive?

I sat in the club level seats against the Eagles in the NFC Champ. game and I must say they are very comfortable and nice seats. Great view of everything.

Not sure about the $7300 for 10 games though.

if you can afford it

I am in the club -- closer to the goal line but really like my seats

during the regular season, its a bit more sedate up there than in the lower bowl -- people cheer, but arent standing up the whole game.

The lounge area behind is nice as well

This will be my 4th yr. at UoP. With the Sunday tailgating with friends and acquaintances and the home games themselves , with the electricity they now have it's well worth eating the two pre-season games. You get discounts at the team shop as well. Your also guaranteed playoff tickets and those are hard to get. Or you'll pay through the nose trying.

Our corner club seats are around $2500 for two. $4800 more for 50 yard line? That's stiff.

I did notice that somebody is trying to sell season tix in our section for double face value on stub hub.

It's legit. On the Cardinals website the price goes up from corner to center. $430 a game is what the Cardinals list it.

I guess I shouldn't complain about paying $1200 for 4 upper level corner seats

Would $1500 for 4 tickets section 109 (between the 40 and 50 yard line) Row 1 be good?

Well, seeing as how that is less than even a pair of tickets in that section would be, I would say good luck to you. I would be curious as to where you are seeing those. We are still talking about season tickets, right?

Did I see you in the end zone last year for the Giants game? My Dad and I talked to some dudes who drove over from ABQ for the game.

I do most of my eating and drinking outside the stadium. Get into a good tailgate (cough cough ABomb and DCR cough cough) and you won't need the food inside.

I am pretty much happy anywhere in the stadium. I like to stand and be involved in the crowd. For a fifth of the price you could be lower bowl and spend that $5,000 bucks on your wife/woman and she will never complain about you going to the games.

That is why I am skeptical. The guy says he moved to London and needs to sell them. Says he will put it on eBay so it is like an Escrow.

Heres is the email he sent me.

1.Buyer and seller agree on the transaction terms and price.
2.Seller contacts eBay Center with the transaction details.
3.Buyer receive the transaction details and payment instructions from eBay Center by email.
4.Buyer deposit the payment to eBay agent and send the payment details to eBay Center.
5.eBay center verify payment from buyer and then will notify the seller to proceed with the shipping.
6.Buyer receives the tickets and have 3 days to inspect it. After the inspection period is over, the buyer must contact eBay Center with the result of the inspection. If the buyer refuses the tickets, the money is refunded to the buyer after the tracking number for the returning shipment is verified.
7. If the buyer keeps the tickets he must notify eBay Center to pay seller with the amount of money.
VERY IMPORTANT: After you send the money to eBay agent he will deposit them into an escrow account until you get and verify the tickets.

Shipping will be done through fed ex overnight delivery as soon as the tickets will be received.

I was skeptical, but when he sent me this email, it seems very organized and planned out and nothing could go wrong. I don't know though.

Vegas, baby, yeah!
That's sending off alarm bells in my head - let me go surf the internets - I'm pretty sure this is a scam.

[edit] - yeah, thought so. This appears to be a variance on the car scam. Giveaway is that you have to contract eBay center and then you get the tickets - no way. According to:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/close-sale.html

They're supposed to receive payment before shipping.

Also, payment is always handled through a third party (escrow.com or paypal). eBay does not get involved.

See here: http://pages.ebay.com/buyselltickets/first.html

Also look here for protecting yourself: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/protecting.html

[edit 2]- eBay also says to be very careful about dealing with guys out of the country. Unless it's English, of course.

True. But the fact that we get to verify they are legit tickets before he gets the money makes this a very entertaining buy. Hell, I would even drive down to the Cardinals stadium and ask them if they are real just to make sure.

Thanks a ton! Saved me $1500.

I sent the guy an email back and basically posted what you said. Can't wait to see what his response is.

It's not. It appears that everything is on the up and up because you are not supposed to pay before you can inspect the tickets.

However, usually how the scam works is that you give money to an organization who is in on it - mirrored website, bogus escrow, etc. Therefore, as soon as you give them the payment information, poof, you money is gone.

How did he contact you? Through the second chance option?

Sounds off alarms in my head too.

As for the club seats, I've had them for the past three years, and while I like the amenities, it's sometimes a chore to get people excited and cheering. Somebody said it was more sedate, and while that's certainly true, that might not always be better. I had thought about moving into the lower bowl, but to get Super Bowl tickets last year, they required us to renew for three more years.

Sitting at the 50 seems a bit too costly though.

I've got Club seats, but I've never heard of the $15 drink allowance. (although, come to think of it, $15 bucks would be like a drop in the ocean :))

But someone owes me $900 worth of beer! Hey Jim O - if you can get me a voucher/credit for this, the next round for all my ASFN friends is on me. :D

His response? The same one you can expect from the Nigerian looking to move money into the US when you ask him if it's a scam.

JTS -- you didnt get the Cardinal "gift card" at the beginning of the season for the concessions? As a club seat holder -- you should have. $150 per seat, per season is on it.

:hulk:

Hmmm... Our tickets are delivered to my friend's house (who went in on the tickets with me) and he neglected to let me in on this little secret.

I suspect that he's going to paying for my golf tomorrow when I see him. :)

Thanks, FK (formally EF)!
