Another weekend of SEC baseball is in the books. As usual, we got a handful of ranked matchups leading to a shift in the SEC standings.

The headliner series was in Austin, Texas. The Longhorns got the best of LSU after the Tigers took game one of the series on Friday night. The Longhorns are now tied for first place in the SEC, sitting at 5-1 in their inaugural year in the conference.

Elsewhere, Georgia's offense continued to mash. Florida was on the wrong end of that mashing as the Gators were swept again. UF is now 0-6 in SEC play.

Another team off to a disappointing start is Texas A&M. The Aggies were swept back-to-back weekends to open their conference schedule. A&M began the year as a national championship contender. Now, we don't even know if Texas A&M will make the tournament.

Here's a complete look at the SEC baseball standings as we head into week three of conference play.

1. Georgia Bulldogs (24-2, 5-1)

Georgia's offense exploded again in the Dawgs' sweep of Florida. UGA leads the SEC with a .626 slugging rate. UGA has 70 home runs on the year, a mark that leads the SEC by a wide margin.

Next Up: UGA is set to host Auburn in Athens this weekend

2. Arkansas Razorbacks (23-1, 5-1)

Arkansas has three of the top sluggers in the SEC. Wehiwa Aloy, Brent Iredale, and Kuhio Aloy all rank in the top 10 in the conference in slugging. Charles Davalan has been a beneficiary of that power and is tied for the SEC lead with 40 runs.

The Razorbacks swept South Carolina in week two, scoring double-digit runs in all three games.

Next Up: The Razorbacks travel to Vanderbilt this weekend

3. Tennessee Volunteers (22-2, 5-1)

Tennessee dropped a midweek game last week before losing the series opener vs. Alabama. The Vols managed to recover, winning games two and three to claim the series. Tennessee's Gavin Kilen ranks second in the SEC with a .986 slugging.

Next Up: The Vols will be heavy favorites against an unranked South Carolina squad this weekend

4. Texas Longhorns (19-3, 5-1)

Texas bounced back from a Friday night loss to add an impressive series win to its resume. Texas is proving it can handle the grind of an SEC schedule after sweeping Mississippi State on the road and taking a series vs. No. 2 LSU. Texas pitching staff held LSU to just two runs on Sunday, the Tigers' lowest offensive output of the season.

Next Up: Texas looks to keep it rolling with a trip to Missouri this weekend

5. Alabama Crimson Tide (22-3, 4-2)

Alabama opened SEC play with a sweep of Texas A&M before losing two of three to the Vols. Alabama's pitching staff ranks fifth with a 4.50 ERA in conference play. There are some questions about the Alabama offense, but the Crimson Tide have a knack for clutch hits and the pitching staff keeps them in games.

Next Up: Alabama is scheduled to host Oklahoma this weekend

6. LSU Tigers (22-3, 4-2)

LSU got off to a 4-0 start in SEC play, but the offense went cold, and the bullpen struggled to get outs in the Tigers' final two games at Texas. LSU missed a chance to add a top 10 series win to its resume, but LSU's track record is strong and the lineup should be expected to bounce back.

LSU ace Kade Anderson gives the Tigers a decided advantage on most Friday nights, but LSU needs the bullpen to find consistency.

Next Up: LSU returns home to host Mississippi State this weekend

7. Oklahoma Sooners (20-3, 4-2)

This is year one for Oklahoma in the SEC. The Sooners are off to a solid 4-2 start. Oklahoma starter Kyle Witherspoon sits second in the SEC in strikeouts with 58 on the year. Reliever Dylan Crooks is one of the top arms in the conference with a 0.55 ERA in 10 appearances.

Next Up: Oklahoma travels to Tuscaloosa for a three-game series with the Crimson Tide this weekend

8. Auburn Tigers (19-5, 4-2)

Auburn has begun SEC play with two impressive series wins. The Tigers took two of three from Vanderbilt in week one before claiming two of three from Kentucky in week two. Former LSU pitcher Sam Dutton is off to a good start in Auburn's Friday night role. Dutton's ERA is 2.51 through six starts and Auburn has won both of Dutton's SEC starts.

Next Up: Auburn's pitching staff will look to keep Georgia in check as the Tigers travel to Athens

9. Vanderbilt Commodores (19-5, 4-2)

Ole Miss took advantage of a struggling Missouri team over the weekend, sweeping the Tigers. In week one, Ole Miss managed to upset Arkansas on Friday before dropping the last two games of the series. Ole Miss sits at an admirable 4-2.

Next Up: A weekend series with Florida is on tap for the Rebels.

11. Kentucky Wildcats (15-7, 2-4)

In two weeks, Kentucky has faced two ranked teams. The Wildcats have managed to win one game in both series. Kentucky was on the verge of being swept by Auburn on Sunday but got the win to move to 2-4 in SEC play. Kentucky won't wow you with the pitching staff or the lineup, but both units are good enough to keep the Wildcats competitive with some of the SEC's top teams.

Next Up: Kentucky heads to Texas A&M this weekend. This Wildcats will look to continue to the Aggies' early season struggles.

12. South Carolina Gamecocks (17-8, 1-5)

Former LSU coach Paul Mainieri is back in the dugout. The Gamecocks are off to a rough 1-5 start in conference play. The schedule hasn't been easy, facing Oklahoma and Arkansas. South Carolina ranks 15th in the SEC with just 23 homers on the year.

Next Up: It's not getting easier for South Carolina with Tennessee on deck.

13. Mississippi State Bulldogs (15-9, 1-5)

Mississippi State's SEC schedule has begun with two series vs. the SEC newbies: Oklahoma and Texas.

The Bulldogs' lone conference win so far was the Friday night meeting with OU. Mississippi State's lineup is formidable, but the pitching has struggled.

Next Up: Mississippi State travels to LSU.

14. Florida Gators (18-8, 0-6)

Florida entered conference play ranked in the top 10, but after two weeks, the Gators are struggling. Florida was swept by Tennessee and Georgia to open the conference slate. Chalk it up to a tough schedule for now. Florida still projects as an SEC tournament team.

Next Up: Florida meets Ole Miss this weekend.

15. Texas A&M Aggies (11-12, 0-6)

It's hard to imagine a worse start for the defending national championship runner-ups. The Aggies are 0-6, getting swept by Vanderbilt and Alabama. Vandy and Bama are good, but neither team is in the top class of the SEC. Texas A&M was expected to be contending for a national title, but there are some big questions in College Station.

Next Up: A&M will look to get right vs Kentucky.

16. Missouri Tigers (8-14, 0-6)

Like Florida and Texas A&M, Missouri is 0-6. But the Tigers are the only SEC program with a losing overall record. Missouri is out of the postseason conversation and is in store for a rough year against a brutal SEC schedule.

Next Up: Missouri has to deal with Texas this weekend.
