SEC Party in the Park reschedules Saturday activities due to severe weather in Nashville. What fans can expect

SEC Party in the Park activities scheduled for Saturday, March 15, have been rescheduled for Sunday, March 16, due to severe weather. The free fan event is taking place this weekend at Music City Walk of Fame Park to celebrate and watch the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament.

As previously reported by the Tennessean, severe storms are expected throughout all of Middle Tennessee late Friday night through midnight Saturday. The National Weather Service is warning of damaging winds, large hail, flooding, and tornadoes.

What is SEC Party in the Park?​

SEC Party in the Park is a free fan event hosted by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp in collaboration with the Southeastern Conference. Fans are able to enjoy live music, food trucks, family-friendly games, and a video screen to watch the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament.

• 10 a.m. - Music City Walk of Fame Park event site opens
• 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. - DJ
• 12 p.m. - Championship Game shown on video screen
• 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. - Runaway June
• 4 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. - DJ
• 4:30 p.m. - Park activities conclude
