Just a great movie!

Saw this yesterday and was highly impressed. The acting was superb especially Robert Duval he is definately deserving of another Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. Michael Cain and Haley Joe Osmit were very good as well.

This is definately a film you can take the entire family too and leave pleased. My 8 year old loved it too.

The story was entertaining and it had some great comedy in it as well!

I was very surprised at how good this movie was. Robert Duvall was excellent. Actually everyone in this movie did an excellent job.

Sorry to pull out the shovel and dig up an old thread, but I had never really heard of this movie and somehow it got recommended on my Netflix queue and it is great. Was OK at the box office, but nowhere near where it should be.

You are right, it is family-friendly (no profanity), and just fun and entertaining and you can watch it more than once. And Robert Duvall was just awesome in this.
