US last year and this. The Bills & Ravens this year. It's gut-wrenching, but truth is, we're NOT alone in our misery. I'd mention the Redskins BUT I'm too busy ENJOYING their "painful" loss Sunday. Still ALOT of Bad-Blood from those NFL-EAST days! GO CARDS!!

Other teams have a bad year, maybe two. We talk about our bad streaks, filled with gut-wrenching defeats, in terms of decades. The only franchise, IMO, that comes close to our misery is Detroit.

The difference being this year, all of our games are close and we are in them all until the bitter end. No blow outs. And I do believe we are building a team that will be around for a while, not just a one year wonder like Chicago last year.

The last year Bugel was here, I recall someone referring to the Cardinals as the best losing team in the game.

Final Record 7-9
Points For: 326
Points Against: 269

Worst Loss: 28-14 at San Francisco (they would be NFC runner up)
Biggest Win: 38-10 at home against the LA Rams

Personally, I feel this team is clearly better than the 1998 team that made it to the final 8. Sure, there are teams that play consistently better, but I don't believe the Cards are pushovers to anyone this year.

One of the biggest mistakes ownership has made was letting Bugel go after that season.

The bills are 6-6, with their last 3 losses against quality teams (New England, Jacksonville, and Dallas which they should have won). They are really turning their season around.

And if they hadn't had to play without Lynch the last 3 games they might have an even better record. They're hoping he comes back this week.

They're not very talented at all it's really quite remarkable they're at .500

Same with Detroit...
Detroit is a pretender if there ever was one this year. they are horrible in their secondary........probably the worst in the league. for every top notch WR they get.......they seem to get the complete opposite in their DB play. they gave away bly(an overrated CB to begin with, but a decent one) for nothing.......not to knock tatum bell. but they aren't using him. kitna gets sacked on almost every series or turns the ball over if he doesn't. this team is bad. and losing their best WR for the rest of the year is just going to make things worse. If dallas doesn't beat them by 40 I will be extremely disappointed. a victory less than 20 points would be more of a loss IMHO. I think this detroit team is as bad as the 49ers are in the NFC right now.

You say that every year. Hopefully one of these years you'll be right.
