THIS ONE IS FOR YOU KOC. TIM WE DID IT.
Last year when the Cards were on a losing game skid, the Great fans of the Arizona Cardinals put together a group of fans and gathered at the teams training facility to see them off on their next road game. The fans brought signs and waived red towels as the team buses headed for the airport. Some of the Cardinals players really appreciated it and it made the newspaper. I know there was a thread here about it as well as it making the newspaper. The Arizona Cardinals brought out free hats and Cards gear for people who showed up..

I think this would be a pretty cool idea to do this again as the Cards leave for their away game vs the Skins next week. Win or lose on Sunday it shows this team that our fans really support this team and I think that the 2007-2008 Cardinal team and Coaching Staff would really feed off of this and appreciate it more than last years coaching staff.

Anybody interested in putting something together again?

Great Idea. I wont be able to make it, but I will be here to welcome them to Washington. I just posted to keep this at the top so more people would see it.

In 1998 we all gathered for a great send off to Dallas. There were so many fans. They had a stage, speakers, and things happening all over the place. At 3-2 or should I dare say 4-2, is it to early. If we have it I will go because I'm a Cardinal nut case.

I am down with doing it again! I went 2 times last year and while it didnt seem that most of the players gave a crp about us being there it was another chance to hang with Cards fans. And Lisa Manning did come out and thank all of us with some Cards gear. If someone can find out the departure time I will be there with signs in hand! Heck last year we joked about tailgating there, wonder if we could pull that off this year?

That's the thing...once they are in the playoffs you'd expect a big gob of people to do it.

When it is early in the season, it shows support for the team FAR more than people behind them because they made the playoffs. It's a way for them to take some of that home field advantage with them, and the Washington game right before the bye is a BIG game for us.

It would be awesome to have a few hundred people out there. Pull up a canopy and tailgate for a bit even.

Get this going on the other board too. If we can get a good showing, THIS team will appreciate it. Whis and Dockett are so vocal of advocates of the fanbase's dedication you know they will be pumped to see fans out there to see them off.
