I dunno about all of you but i have never been to a sold out football game, only choose your seat day cardinal games. Being in the new stadium, with such a great team and 65000 people is gonna be a memory i will always remember. LETS GO CARDINALS!!!!

The San Diego game in '98 nearly brought tears to my eyes.

You know what, the crowd made a difference that day. I think they played better football because the crowd was pumped up.

I've been to a sold out StL Rams game and a myriad of sold out ASU football games, never a Cards sell out though. Should be exciting and hopefully will help the team. The dome should especially help make the other teams OLineman jump off sides.

Sold out games rock. I've only been to one sold out Cards game, but I've been to numerous others with the Suns & Coyotes. I can't wait to go to a game!

IIRC, the last sellout was the 49ers Monday night game where Aeneas ended Steve Young's career. I was there.

I havent been to a sporting event other than football since i was a kid so i have no idea if those games were sellouts. But to step foot in that stadium for the first time (well third) and see 65000 people screaming to kill vernon davis, i am gonna be in complete nirvana. bandwagon or not, i love anyone in cardinal red. this is going to be a special season fellas, lets never forget what its like to be the garbage team, the joke of the nfl. From now on i will be the one talking mad **** about other teams. i will be that bastard who goes too far about the cowgirls. VENGEANCE IS MINE!!!!

go cardinals!!!!

the team alone has me ready for the playoffs, when they step into that brand new stadium and hear the 65k of us roar they are gonna explode!!!! remember what happened to SF last time we played them in a sold out game? i sure do!

I've been to a few Cardinal sell outs at SDS including the Dallas game in 93 with the temp well over 100 degrees. That was something.

The only Cards sellout however that was all Cards fans pretty much was that San Diego game in 98. It will be great to have sellouts that aren't just because some other teams fills up our stadium with its fans. I'm ready for that.

Not seeing a half empty stadium on TV will do wonders for my pschy and I think will add at least 3 points a home game to our scoring.

That game was awesome! My entire family (Parents, siblings, nieces and nephews) came into town for Christmas - since none of them had ever seen an NFL game live before, we went to the game - fortunately I had gotten tickets a few weeks prior, SEZ. SWEET GAME!!

I had NY Giant season tix (twice) - mainly so I could see the Cardinals once a year. I'd try to sell the rest. (When they doubled the price and I had trouble selling the tickets, I gave them up and redeployed my funds to DirecTV. Now I see all the Cardinal games).

Giant games were always sold out. It was never an issue. You just assumed it.

With regard to sell-outs in the new stadium - we get three benefits for the price of one: (1) game is sold out, (2) tv blackouts are lifted - further expanding the fan-base and (3) a great percentage of the fans in the seats are wearing Cardinal red and not Felon Blue, Viking Purple or whatever.

I have been waiting 17 years for a home field advantage. They reported back then that the heat was the advantage only because we had nobody in the stands. My brother is real happy as he can't afford tickets and loves the team. He will cheer watching this year instead of just listening. The fan base will grow for many reasons , but if we win the main reason will be exposer via TV. Imagine if you will a ticket price with real value and a fan base who were to late to buy in 2006 waiting in line to by them! This season can't come to soon.
