Daniel Alfredsson and Antoine Vermette scored on Ottawa's first two chances in the shootout and Martin Gerber stopped Boston initial pair of shooters Sunday night to lift the Senators to their 12th win in their first 13 games, 2-1 over the Bruins. Chuck Kobasew, who scored both goals in a 3-2 loss Saturday night in Ottawa, had Boston's goal in regulation.
