#azcardinals will release C Lyle Sendlein soon, per sources. Likely declined a pay cut. Door is open for him to return but he'll test market

BOOM!

We desperately needed to upgrade the center position anyway. Thanks for the memories, Lyle!

Lyle Sendlein cap number was 4.275M, by releasing him the Cardinals will save 3.15M, and 1.125M will count against the cap in dead money.

I'm not going to hate on the guy, he did the best he was capable of, imo. Besides, Duckjake loved him!!

He's a local product, from Chaparral HS. He was undrafted and played his way into a starting job. Then he eventually became a team Captain. I always thought our soft interior line was likely attributable to him, but I can never hate on the guy. He was a durable player at a critical position. He exceeded expectations and had a hell of a career with the Cards.

Sendline was a very solid player for Cards for years. I'm glad we had him... He came out of nowhere to have a very nice career.

Summed up perfectly.

Dude played his heart out for us. Sometimes you have to make business decisions, but he was a good Cardinal.

My thoughts exactly. One of the last few players left from the Superbowl team. I wish him luck.
