I believe the cardinals will have 7 picks in this draft, the 6 they currently have + 1 compensatory pick---so i am going to make 7 selections here (two at each spot, depending on which player is on the board when the Cardinals pick:

1A. DT Sheldon Rankins, Louisville.

What I love about Rankins is how explosive he is in his hips and yet how quick his feet are. We need interior pass rushers who can quickly shed their blockers and take down a scrambling QB. Rankin is made to order. In this regard his shorter height actually works in his favor, a la Aaron Donald.

1B. OLB Noah Spence, Eastern Kentucky.

Spence has the edge quickness and pursuit sped the Cardinals need. His off the field issues appear to be behind him---but that might allow him to be on the board at pick #29.

2A. QB Dak Prescott, Mississippi St.

Won MVP of the Senior Bowl, for leading the South to a nice TD on an excellent back shoulder pass. What I love about him is his leadership, his feet, his toughness under pressure and his natural, accurate throwing motion.

2B. C Nick Martin, Notre Dame

Brother of the Cowboys' All-Pro RG Zach Martin, who is a natural center who takes complete charge of the offensive line.

3A. Sean Davis, CB/S, Maryland

Steve Keim says he wants to add a DB with size and speed, well Davis not only has both size and speed, but he is a tough kid and a big hitter.

xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

3B. LB Deion Jones, LSU.

Naturally gifted athlete who is garnering a good deal of attention following his strong performance this season at LB.

4A. Miles Killebrew, S, Southern Utah

Wanna see a a tough, big-hitting safety---check this highlight tape out.

xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

4B. QB Brandon Allen, Arkansas.

Played well at the Senior Bowl showing natural zip on his passes and excellent mobility.

xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

5A. TE Bryce Williams, East Carolina.

Good size (6'6"), runs very well and puts up good RAC numbers.

xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

5B. CB Jonathan Jones, Auburn.

Reminds me so much of Jerraud Powers, an other Auburn press CB.

xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

6A. G Sebastian Tretola, Arkansas.

Of all the guards at the Senior Bowl, he impressed me the most. Good size, strong base, powerful frame.

xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

6B. RB Aaron Green, TCU.

Smallish RB with high kicking style and breakaway speed. If he runs well at the Combine, he might be a Day 2 (Rounds 2-3) pick.

xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

7A. CB Eric Murray, Minnesota.

Good height---long arms---aggressive, but keeps his cushion well when necessary.

xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

7B. OLB Dadi Nicolas, Virginia Tech.

An edge player who may slide because lacks photo-typical size. But, he's got a strong motor and the kind of quickness we want on the edge.

 Luv Rankins Mitch, I highly doubt Soence is there even with his past issues. Rankins may not be either but I'm hoping :D

I put 2 QBs in there in case Dak Prescott is off the board when the Cardinals pick. There's no way they are taking two QBs.

Great draft proposal Mitch... Rankins with his build and movement for his size reminds me of Warren Sapp in my opinion

Nice work and picks WM. I like that your added some QB prospects. It makes the draft more interesting....and harder to project. It's much easier making mocks w/o QB prospects....which they should try to develop....ON THEIR OWN.

depending on the offseason at S we have

Bucannon
Jefferson
Johnson
Mathieu
Swearenger
Clemons

unless we let one go, i see no reason to draft a safety especially if we get a good enough ILB that bucannon can move back.

Am I the only one that thinks if we draft a ILB early, we should actually replace Minter with him instead of Bucannon? Bucannon looked like the better ILB this season(easily) even in the run game. Just let him add 5-10lbs over the offseason to get bigger. Plus, his speed does a lot for us & he isn't a liability like Minter.

Think we also should let Rashad, Clemons, & Swearinger walk by the way.

Russell Wilson Part II. Maybe not as smooth as a scrambler as Wilson (who is?), but has a stronger arm, imo, and looks potentially more accurate.

I didn't include him here because he didn't attend the Senior Bowl. But, he lit things up at the East West Shrine game...in fact, my favorite player on offense in that games was Adams---by far---and my favorite player on defense was OLB/DE Victor Ochi of Stony Brook. Man I would love it if the Cardinals add these two.

No you aren't. I think we should draft an athletic LB to take over for Minter. What we might lose in strength at the point of attack will be easily outdone by what we gain in coverage and blitzing.

I like Rankins but also Jonathan Bullard even more...

Explosive lower body -----> https://vine.co/v/iAZgvn6g3uz

Too quick for the center ------> https://vine.co/v/iMJ9nu39d7Q

Neutralized OL with one arm and blows up run -----> https://mobile.twitter.com/PFF_Steve/status/683001605201989632/video/1

I absolutely agree. I would love to add Bullard. He is going to be a very good player. Sheldon Day is another player with similar traits. I just watched some film of his and was very impressed. He would be a backup plan if Bullard was chosen before us.

The problem is he doesn't fit what BA has had in QBs from the past or present. Big & big arm. Could he change his ways? I doubt it, but like the potential of the player & was in awe of him during watching the ASU game live this year.

Arians should change his criteria to choose qbs
I think we didnt draft Russel wilson cause he didnt like wilson size and the fact he likes to scramble, maybe he has a vintage criteria
he should evaluate more the intelligence, the Quick release and accuracy then arm Strenght height and size

I think we should press Urban, Jurecki and/or Somers to bring this guy up specifically in the draft build up with BASK to see if they have a prototype for QBs or if Russell Wilson has made them change their tune.

For a coach that loves to run the spread with zero backfields, having a mobile QB who can threaten the defense with his feet would actually make better sense than having a QB who struggles to escape pressure. I think BA is into winning any which way he can, so i could see him being fascinated with a mobile QB. Plus---as a play caller---it's great to be able to call bootlegs and waggles.

I agree, Buc is no longer a safety he's a LB. Several other 3-4 teams have been moving towards a smaller ISLB these days. I would like to see him add about 10 LBS of muscle.
