The D'backs have four pitchers who have been our Closer over the past 3-4 years. But not one of them can be counted on to withstand the full-time role of daily setup or closer.
When Aquino, Lyon, Valverde, and Bruney are all healthy, maybe the four of them could rotate between 7th-8th-9th setup and closer, without blowing out any of their arms.
On an 11-man pitching staff, with 5 sold starters, that would leave room for one long relief guy and a lefty specialist.
That might just work.
