Sevilla Midfielder Dead at age 22

I don't know if any of you guys follow La Liga in Spain, but during this weekend's game between Sevilla (one of my favorite teams) and Getafe, one of Sevilla's midfielders, Antonio Puerta, collapsed. It turned out that he had a heart attack and was unconscious...he was rescucitated on the field and managed to walk off of the field. I watched that game and had been wondering what had happened to him and was saddened to learn that he had passed away today.

He got up and walked off the field and know is dead? Crikey!!

I saw some clips of the collapse. It was creepy.

So sad.

He died from a congenital heart defect that is almost undetectable....he had an EKG and a stress test 20 days before his death according to team officials.
Very sad.....
