I agree with you on Boston, who I really hope catches the Yankees, but I really can't see the infatuation with the Cubs. In fact, I think they're the most flawed of any would-be contender. Prior and Wood are not healthy, mostly due to Dusty running them out there for 100+ pitches after they get off the DL. And Zambrano, Hawkins, and Farnsworth don't have the mental makeup to pitch in the postseason. Add to that the Cubs are 13-23 in one run games before they made their defense five times worse by adding Nomar and you get a team hat has some serious questions heading into September. I actually think the Marlins and Padres would have better postseason squads than the Cubs.

The Cards have clinched a playoof birth already, now they have the task of sweeping the D Backs and getting their 3rd. divisional title in 5 yrs.
PS.......I know you guys don't care to hear this news, but you guys rock and I'm excited about all of this. Football Cardinals are still my favorite pastime BTW.

Not a chance, I would bet that if the Cubbies got to the playoffs, and seen us at round 2, they wouldn't have a chance. What? The cubs play the best team in baseball? Ha!
