The game is winnable. But we have to come out with the same intensity that we did when we played them in 04'.
Although Alexander had a MVP season last year, Holmgren still has shown the tendency to abandon the run at times. We CAN get him to do this. Our fast and penertrating defense can get us tackles for loss and put more pressure on Hasselbeck and allow us to use our freshly revealed blitz packages to greater effect. We don't have to sack Hasselbeck, just get pressure and stop any rythm from being established in the passing game.
From what I understand, Walter Jones is not 100%. This will give Berry a chance for disruption off the edge. Normally, these two just cancel each other out or Jones gets the upper hand. But with Jones not totally healthy, there is a chance Berry could etch up his first sack for 06'.
There are two ways I can see the Hawks approaching this game on D. Ether dropping everyone back to try and nulify our passing game and put pressure on our unproven ground game. Or stacking the box and trying to get after Warner. If they use the former, it will be intreasting because the Seattle DB's struggled all of last year with the 26th ranked pass defense in the NFL.
