Caught the NFL network this morning and there segment on key games of the week. By the way, it's cool to be mentioned as, " A Team ". So it was just a typical talk about Cards and Hags until Sharpe said that he just might think the Cards will take them this week. You can tell he's in love with Fitz and Q. They play his style of football.
I do not think the Cards defense sucks. Clancey will come up with a great plan and this week, we will attack.

We need to steal this one.
We saw last Sunday, this team has real deal offensive power, I'm expecting a loss, but we really do know, if the Cards stars get hot, you cant stop this offense

I'm with Skkorp.

I really hope we pull it off but then I just think about how well the Cards play on the road and reality sets in. :(

I just don't see us pulling off the upset.

What did you see in 98 when we went into Dallas for our first playoff game?

Seattle is not the same team(at this point) as they were last year, an neither are we. This game can be won. We will have to play our best game in 2 years to pull it off, but things have changed. We have a bonifide top 3 offense that could reek havoc Sunday and thru out the year. In fact we may be THE most explosive offense today. I'd like to add, if we win this week our special teams will have played a major role.
It can be done.

Keys to the game:

D can't let Seattle get off to a fast start (ie: After first two series Seattle must be at 3 or zero points).

Edge runs better EARLY in the game.

Kurt gets time.

As long as Warner doesn't HAVE TO pass at will, he will be ABLE TO throw at will.

**One thing to watch. Seattle is very good at baiting QB's to "think" the TE/slot wr is uncovered on a full blitz, only to jump that route!

Also, look for BIG plays way down field tomorrow. Seattle's S's are known for getting caught out of position.

In all honesty, if the Cards D comes to play (20 points or less), I expect Arizona to win, and they will.

We shut down Rb Alexander, and let Warner, Q, Fitz, and Edge put 30 points on the board.........then come Monday, we'd still be ranked #1 in the division.

Yes, I can see it!!

lol...........

We will have to play our best game in 2 years to pull it off, but things have changed.

Make that 5 years. The Cards haven't played well enough to beat any really decent team on the road since December of 2001.

The game is winnable. But we have to come out with the same intensity that we did when we played them in 04'.

Although Alexander had a MVP season last year, Holmgren still has shown the tendency to abandon the run at times. We CAN get him to do this. Our fast and penertrating defense can get us tackles for loss and put more pressure on Hasselbeck and allow us to use our freshly revealed blitz packages to greater effect. We don't have to sack Hasselbeck, just get pressure and stop any rythm from being established in the passing game.

From what I understand, Walter Jones is not 100%. This will give Berry a chance for disruption off the edge. Normally, these two just cancel each other out or Jones gets the upper hand. But with Jones not totally healthy, there is a chance Berry could etch up his first sack for 06'.

There are two ways I can see the Hawks approaching this game on D. Ether dropping everyone back to try and nulify our passing game and put pressure on our unproven ground game. Or stacking the box and trying to get after Warner. If they use the former, it will be intreasting because the Seattle DB's struggled all of last year with the 26th ranked pass defense in the NFL.
