The San Jose Sharks could receive a huge boost to their lineup to aid in their the efforts to advance past the Colorado Avalanche. Sharks coach Pete DeBoer offered an update on Joe Pavelski's condition Wednesday after the captain was seriously injured in Game 7 versus the Vegas Golden Knights, telling reporters that the captain has made meaningful progress and is expected to skate on Wednesday back in San Jose. DeBoer would not rule out a return for Pavelski before the Sharks' second-round series is through.
