Shedeur Sanders fuels draft rumors by posting photo with Raiders QB Geno Smith

Despite trading for Geno Smith, the Las Vegas Raiders still figure to be in the market for a quarterback during the draft. They could use a franchise passer to take the reins from Smith at some point down the line and they’re in prime position to land one with the sixth overall pick.

Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders has been a popular target for the Raiders in mock drafts, with rumors linking him to Las Vegas. He’s only feeding those rumors in his latest Instagram post, posing for a photo with Smith.

Might the Raiders be eyeing Sanders in the draft as an heir to Smith?

Sanders is viewed as one of the best quarterbacks in this class, right up there with Cam Ward from Miami. He should be the second quarterback drafted and the Raiders would be a logical landing spot in the top 10.
