He doesn't look like he wants to go to the Expos, and obviously Texas wants to dump him. The Expos were going to give Texas two minor leaguers for him.

Thoughts?

LOL!!! I was going to say "No efin way," but you said it better.

Does anyone have a theory why our own Brian Gordon doesn't even make the discussion radar for the club? Free swinging, OK, but too much so?

I’m not advocating another 5-year $50 million deal for a another 33 year-old RH power hitter. If Texas wants to move him for lower rate pitching talent (a.k.a. not Webb) and will also pick up the majority of the $13 million tab, I would be all for it. Send Bautista or Finley the other way and you have a big bat for one season at the cost of $3-5 mill.

Because of his no trade contract he wont move without getting a big money contract extension.
