Nike pulled a new sneaker featuring an early version of the American flag from stores after former NFL quarterback and Nike spokesperson Colin Kaepernick reportedly criticized the design. The "Betsy Ross" flag, with 13 stars to represent the original colonies, was created during the era of slavery. Critics are ripping Nike for going too far with its recent political positions.
