I think so. Even with an impending uniform change in 2006 (when they enter their new stadium) I believe that ditching the grey facemasks is something that should be done sooner, rather than later.

I would like to see more black trim on their uniforms to go with a black facemask. But since that's not going to happen, I'd prefer to see their facemasks in red.

What's sad is that the Cards have had a Gray facemask for so long, that Gray is actually an official team color. Really. I'm not kidding.

I've been on a personal facemask color-change since 1974 - when the Chargers became the first team in the NFL to go against the grain and wear Gold (Yellow) facemasks.
