Should we be cheering on the SeaHags this weekend?

I know... I want to puke just typing those words. But, should the Hags beat Philly, and should Green Bay beat the Skins, and should the Cards defeat the Vikings, believe it or not, but the Cards will hold the #6 seed in playoff positioning and will control their own fate the rest of the way... I know... tons of football still left to play. However, for the Cards, if the aforementioned scenario were to play out, the Cards win out and they're in... :stick:

If the goal is superbowl, and Seattle winning means we make it to the superbowl, then the answer is obviously yes.

Anybody who has any fallacies of winning the NFCW needs a good slap and shake. Its not happening. We need to start looking at those wild cards.

Uh yeah, but if you're interested in a scenario where the Cards win out and they're in, isn't it a lot simpler, more likely, and more enjoyable to hope that the Seahawks LOSE and the Cards win? Then the Cards are one game behind the Seahawks with a head-to-head game yet to play, so once again... Cards win out and they're in... and this way, with a guaranteed home game. And it doesn't matter what happens in the GB - Washington game.

So... NO, we should NOT be cheering on the Seahawks. Ever.

Slap and Shake me then, I don't quit and I don't expect the team will either. A hags win this weekend has nothing to do with if we make it to the super bowl or not. If you think we have no shot at the division title then how can you convince anybody that we have a shot at the super bowl?

PS if we don't make it to the big game I don't want it to be the hags either.

I actually give the Cards more of a chance to leapfrog the trio of the Vikes, Skins, and Eagles than catching the Seahawks.

I will however sill always root against Seattle just because I hate them so much unless for us it is mathematically imperative that they win. (Or of course if I happen to be in Vegas with a parlay ticket in my hand)

My current crisis. Both the Seahawks and the Cowpukes are doing well. At least we do not play the Cowpukes this year......I do not know if I could take that.

..........I think I would rather see the Seahawks win then the Cowpukes. As for this weekend, I hope the Cardinals win, that's it.

I feel like it's the 90's again and just trying to do impossible math to get the Cards into the playoffs.

It doesn't feel like our year and no matter how many times I watch, The Secret, it doesn't change. But who knows? 2008 didn't feel like our year either.

last year was our year. Top 5 offense + top 5 defense. Near impossible to replicate that. Just blew it.

Ha ha! Exactly what I was thinking. Like JF said, just win out and let the other teams try to figure out how to get in.

After the game cardinals played sunday, I would prefer not talking about our path to the playoff...

Agreed. This conversations has deteriorated to the point where we are saying there are worse things then the Cowboys in the NFL. At that point we have hit rock bottom. LOL

This should be a win. The only team with a winning record the Vikings has played was the Texans, and even then, that's AFC South. That's like us beating the Bears. Easy win, no doubt.

This is way off. The Vikings have played the Giants (6-3), Texans (6-3), Eagles (5-4), Lions (5-4), and Redskins (5-3-1). In fact, even most of the rest of the teams they've played are within a game of .500 (Titans, Packers, Panthers). Only the Bears (2-7) have a significant losing record. Their combined opponents' record is a couple games ABOVE .500.

It is the Cardinals that have only played two teams with winning records - the Patriots (7-2) and Seahawks (6-2-1). The Buccaneers, Bills, Rams, and Panthers are within a game of .500. Then the Cards had the Jets (3-7) and two games against the 49ers (1-8). Their combined opponents' record is WAY BELOW .500.

Just keepin' it real!!
