Shumpert's Georgia Tech team had a terrible year with Shumpert as the clear cut leader. Fredette's team had a great year, with arguably a worse supporting cast.

Why draft a pg that doesn't know how to win? After all, isnt that the point?

Winning should matter but it shouldn't be the only criteria. How many wins does Georgia Tech get in the Mountain West? How many games does BYU win in the ACC? How well does Jimmer actually play in the ACC?

I read that Fredette still scored well against Iman but he pushed him further outside for longer range shots. The way the draft is stacking up I wish Fredette were still be on the board at #13 but I think not. I'm not aware of any player that shut him down during workouts. It's not that I'm so high on Fredette but I view him as a safe pick. Not to compare the two but Nash was drafted because he was considered to be the safe pick by the Suns.
