As if sitting at Chase Field and watching Chad Qualls continue to ruin our season wasn't enough (w/ 15,000 fans in attendance), now we get to listen to La Russa run his yap AGAIN. I can not stand La Russa and therefore, hate the Cardinals as well. He is always bitching and moaning about something and it's extremeley aggravating. This is the MLB, grow a set and realize that a pitcher will throw inside when they want. Carpenter got hit on the forearm, big freaking deal. La Russa's making it out like Snyder was back there head hunting.

It wouldn't be any different if a Cardinal batter was hit with a slow curve ball on the foot. Hit a St. Louis player, LaRussa wants revenge. Of all the managers of all the team in all the years, I have never seen someone as vengeful as LaRussa. He should have as much respect for human beings as he has for animals. Not all hit batters were hit intentionally. Only some of them. And that works both ways! I understand the unwritten rule about reciprocating in kind when one of your players is hit, but LaRussa carries it to ridiculous extremes!

"Hey, Tony - don't you have some drinking and driving (and sleeping) to do, you loser?"

It's fine to stick up for your players but you have to draw the line somewhere. I have always hated La Russa because he takes his beefs to the media and is constantly whining. The guy is like a human moth... It's pathetic

To say what Snyder did crossed the line or endangers his players is completely ridiculous. Grow up, this isn't softball

I lost respect for La Russa when he denied any knowledge of the steroids being taken by Jose Canseco and Mark McGuire. The guy is a great manager don't get me wrong. While Canseco has exaggerated at times, he has been pretty spot on. He said how it was openly discussed in the clubhouse and was no big deal. Somehow Tony missed it...right.
