Unfricking real. Precisely when does it sound like a good idea for an NFL player to sell pot to supplement his income?

Where do these guys get this crap from it never ceases to amaze me.

I guess the challenge of Hodgins led him to seek a new career?

Hey, think of the volume that you could buy with their kind of salary! That's one hell of a big dime bag!

I'm not too concerned.

They still have Bush, who can play FB. I actually thought he did a good job there last year when he was used.

Besides....McKinley isn't gone yet.

He did do a pretty good job. Solid lead blocker.

LMAO! Exactly!

"Didn't get that mega-$$ FA contract this offseason? We can help you supplement your income with our fine array of home ruffage products! So good, they practically sell themselves!"

How much time was he gonna see with Emmitt, Hodgins, and Shipp anyways? I think at this point he's just insurance in case someone goes down.

This has got to go down as one of the dumber off-season things a player has done - not just using it, but selling.

Because he is a special teams stud.... something Joel isn't. Your backup FB better cover punts and kicks or you are wasting a roster spot.

I also think that if McKinley is gone, it is his special teams play, more than at FB, that would be missed.

S11:

The heck with Mackovicka. Tell Bush he's the backup FB, and bring back Larry Centers. Feel-good story of the season, and a still-effective 3rd-down receiver to boot. Pretty good on blitz pick-up too, as I recall.

Yeah, I'm serious. I'd *love* to see Centers retire a Cardinal.

Makovicka is a Husker, and I'm automatically completely biased towards him. It's a problem that I'm working on.

The backup FB is already on the roster. He's listed as the 4th TE and goes by the name of Lorenzo Diamond. He's already got a FB number - 49.

Section 11, Makovicka was IMO, the weakest link of our 22 starters - possibly the worst blocking FB in the NFL. I really hope we look to Diamond but McGinnis has a bad habit of brining back proven failures.

Man, people are going to have to starting asking TWO questions when they buy drugs from a guy

Question 1: Are you a cop???

Question 2: Do you play for (insert your favorite NFL team here)?

I prefer Missablocka or Droptheballa to stay wherever he is... Oh that'd be no where? Hmmmmmmm. maybe he could contact Leeland McElroy & they could try karaoke together....

3 Words even though he is NOT a true fullback..
