I went back and looked at 2003 Arizona Cardinals roster which is the year prior to Dennis Green's arrival (I know, i know, i have too much time on my hands). But when you see some of these names it should send a chill down your spine. You've been warned but here are some of the names:

Jeff Blake
Preston Parsons
Larry Foster
Bryan Gilmore
Kevin Kasper
Jason McCaddley
Nathan Poole :this WR group gets a:barf:
Mike Banks
Steve BUsh
Jayson Starkey :
Chris Dishman:may be the worst contrarct extension ever handed out in NFL history. :doi:
Cameron Spikes
Teag Whiting:
Kendrick Rogers
Ray Thompson
Emmanuel Mcdaniel
Coby Rhinehart
Michael Stone
Quentin Harris
Dennis Johnson
Wendell Bryant
Derrick Ransom
Barron Tanner
Bill Grammatica
The flying Levars :Woods and Fisher

look at this roster:  :hairraise :jawdrop: :biglaugh:

I always see about ex-Cards goign on to stellar careers. The only guy i know that has moved on and done exceedingly well is Simeon Rice. And that is no shocker he was good here. This list is 25 guys that composed the roster and none of them have done a thing anywhere else. Most probably never made another roster. Think about that when you see what DG inherited and compare it to what the team is now and close to becoming. His w/l record hasnt' shown it but i'm feel pretty safe that he's done an excellent job getting this team up to NFL standards in talent level.

Well there was a time when a lot of people thought those guys were NFL caliber players and only lost because they got bad breaks and that they were going to turn it around the next Sunday.

I remember how excited some of the Kool Aid gang were about the extensions and how Graves was solidifying the "belly" of the team.

Too bad two of them were Mac and Graves. I know i wasn't one of them. I believe that is when the "Darkside" was formed as was the "Kool-aid" drinkers.

Dishman was my favorite OL. I enjoyed watching him chase the DL to the QB. The sad part was after we cut him he signed with the rams if my memory is correct. I think Clement was the worst contract signing. We gave him big money hoping the OL would jell.
