I'm not sure why people believe that stuff. I'm here a lot. I was even driving around town at 2am last night. That's all fear mongering BS.

I won't go to tiny villages in the middle of Mexico but tourist areas are perfectly fine

In the past 3 months I've been here 8 times. No one has kidnapped, beheaded or hassled me in any way.

And keep in mind, I'm a total troublemaker and hang out/do things people would avoid and I still never have problems.

Ever been to one in Florida? They do the full nude. Got kicked out of the cats meow and the pink pussycat in the same night back in 87...those were Lauderdale clubs

Manny's is most likely closed. Bryan's is a good place to go...it's on the way to Las conchas. Al capones is also a good sports bar...which is semi-close to manny's.
