Oh my gosh, this movie was HORRIBLE. I had low expectations coming in, but this movie completely obliterated that with it's suckitude.

You're exaggerating. No way was it that good!

What was really strange is that it showed flashes of good FX and some interesting concepts. Then the movie just absolutely takes a constant crap on it all. Seriously, this movie could have used some Pepto Bismol.

By far the worst ending I have ever seen.

You saw an ending? I watched it several months ago and I'm still waiting on the wrap-up. It was like giving someone the floor so they can make an important point only to have them

I think I read somewhere that this movie was made by an FX company. Bad story + good effects seems about right if this was the case.

Did anyone really expect this movie to be anything but really, really (really) bad?

That said, when it streams on Netflix I'll probably watch it and enjoy it because my expectations are sub-basement. :)

I can't say I hated every moment of it but if I could go back in time and unwatch it, I would and I rarely feel that way. It's not the worst ever but there are just so many better movies (and TV shows). As far as expectations, the movie was weak but it was exactly what I expected up until the ending and it was the least satisfying ending in recent memory.

Streamed it on Netflix.

Terrible Terrible ending. WTF were they thinking????

It was watchable up untill the last third of the movie and then just slipped downhill fast.

It appears the writers were intent on setting up the sequel. If they had concentrated on the current story it might have turned out better. It's sort of like a receiver thinking about the touchdown before catching the ball only to see it slip through his fingers.

Some of the FX were cool but some was bad. For the most part the story and acting for the most part were absurd. Having said that it's not the worst movie I have seen in this genre but it is one of the most forgettable.

I watched this movies based on the terrible reviews on here and I have to say you were all WAY off. It is much worse than anyone said. All of you should be receiving a letter from my lawyer to get my time back. I am pretty easy on movies and thought it was the second worst movie I ever saw behind Indian in the Cupboard.
