The 1998 cult classic "SLC Punk!" is finally getting a sequel, as "SLC Punk 2: Punk's Dead" is slated to start shooting this June in Salt Lake City, it was announced Tuesday by original writer-director James Merendino.

Original cast members Devon Sawa, Michael Goorjian, Adam Pascal and James Duval will return to reprise their roles of Sean, Heroin Bob, Eddie and John the Mod, respectively.

Additionally, Ben Schnetzer ("Warcraft") will play Heroin Bob's son, Ross, while Machine Gun Kelly will co-star as a character named Crash. The new female leads will be played Hannah Marks ("The Amazing Spider-Man") and Sarah Clarke ("Twilight").

interesting, part one was good and if every actor comes back they could make magic again.

I have serious doubts but it would be cool.

This movie was fine just how it ended, and though I enjoyed it I'm not sure I would dub it a "classic". I mean do we really need a sequel? Silly. :(
