UC Davis running back Lan Larison has gained a lot of attention as of late with an exceptional pro day performance earlier this week. The 6-foot, 215-pound do-it-all back reportedly raised some eyebrows in the New Orleans Saints organization as a potential day three selection in this year's draft.

Putting together a clinic this week, Larison ran a 4.46-second 40 to go along with some impressive three-cone and short shuttle times. He also showed his explosiveness jumping 35.5 inches in the vertical, while landing a 10-foot broad jump. This performance was crucial for Larison as he was unable to participate in many activities this off-season, after undergoing ankle surgery awhile back.

It was reported by Tony Pauline of SportsKeeda that the team may look to bring him Larison in for a visit soon. After racking up over 2,300 yards from scrimmage and 23 touchdowns, Larison showed his completeness as a player at the running back position, excelling both as a runner and a pass catcher. With Alvin Kamara just a few months away from his 30th birthday, Larison is an intriguing late-round option with upside that the team could add to the pipeline at the position.
