This looks horrendous.

it was pretty bad. We went to see The Meg but it was frakking sold out only seats left were very front row which is a no go for me. This was the only movie that started in a decent time frame close to the Meg. So we decided to see it. All I can say is it was a total waste of 35.00 admission to see it.

We love it when that is the case because those are our preferred seats anyway. Front row middle seats. LOL

Doesn't your neck hurt from looking up?

Not really. Most chairs lean back a bit. We like front row center or second row center. We like to be immersed in the film.

Why sit toward the middle or back of the theater and basically get the home view, plus get all of the heads of people and their chairs in your view, too?

Because it is more comfortable, and you can see the entire screen.

Last time I was upfront (second row) I got a headache. (On a side note, Alice Cooper and wife were directly behind me).

Yeah, they aren't for everyone. We always check to see if we can see the entire screen from the front row first and move to the second row if the view is better.

We saw Alice shopping at the Brass Armadillo last year.

I bet theaters love you two - taking the seats no one else want :)

I was spoiled as a kid (and as an adult) regularly seeing films at the REAL Cine Capri. Sitting closer gives us the feel of that old theater (and not the faux versions that exist these days).
