I just watched it. It was a neat little film about a young man dealing with the death of a father that left him when he was a boy. The setting was an Indian reservation in Idaho. It really reminded me of some reservations that I saw while growing up in Oregon. The most interesting parts of this movie were the conversations between the two young men (Victor and Thomas) on their journey to retrieve Victor’s father’s ashes from Arizona.

If you liked this one you'll like "Dance Me Outside".

Both these films are pretty big amongst "my people".

If you wanna see a really good movie about natives and the drinking problem a lot of them face, check out "Skins".

I am half of one of "your people." I loved Smoke Signals and will check out the others.

Very beautiful yet quiet movie. Sometimes I couldn't get "Heeeey Victor" out of my head after watching this film. It's a good phrase to annoy your co-workers if they've seen it.

One of my friends is in this movie. Check it out...I really recommend it.
