Magdalene Hope hosted its 8th Annual "Tee Off for Hope" Golf Tournament on March 10 at Stockdale Country Club, building awareness and raising funds to combat sex trafficking and help survivors.
"The fight against sex trafficking requires ongoing support and action. Through events like ‘Tee Off for Hope,’ we can continue to assist, support, and empower survivors on their journey to healing and independence," said Dr. Doug Bennett, founder and president of Magdalene Hope, Inc.
Proceeds support Magdalene Hope’s Freedom Assistance League, which assists and transports survivors to safety, and the Bakersfield Women’s Center, which provides hot meals, clothing, counseling and resources.
